Whole Doubts is a duo quietly formed by Frequency and Aalias -- the producers behind Eminem's smash single "The Monster" featuring Rihanna -- last year as a creative outlet.  After spending years behind the scenes crafting soundscapes for various top artists across genres, Frequency and Aalias decided that it was time to enter the spotlight.

The opportunity arose last summer when Frequency and Aalias were asked to produce a single for independent artist Handsome Ghost.  Instead of charging their typical major label producer rate, Frequency and Aalias asked for a featuring credit.  That decision proved to be fruitful, as that single -- "Eyes Wide" -- exploded online, becoming Handsome Ghost's most popular song to date.

Over the course of the next several months, Frequency and Aalias started scouring through their sessions of unplaced demos and unfinished songs when they happened upon a demo called "Leave" that they started with the popular independent artist Kevin Garrett in a co-writing session with Colubmia recording artist Phoebe Ryan.  Kevin Garrett -- known for his breakout single "Coloring" as well as for producing and co-writing Beyonce's beautiful ballad "Pray You Catch Me" -- loved the song and encouraged the guys to release it as the proper Whole Doubts debut.

While everyone might not yet be familiar with the names Frequency and Aalias, their respective resumes speak for themselves.  In addition to "Monster," together they have crafted hits for numerous artists, including the Gold single "Mad Hatter" for Melanie Martinez and the haunting piano ballad "Gone" by Bebe Rexha.  On his own, Frequency has a rich history working in various genres.  His big break came after producing "Think About It" off Snoop Dogg's Tha Blue Carpet Treatment in 2006, and his career has included producing the debut Gold single "Reflections" for indie rock band Misterwives; working on the recent Hamilton Mixtape; producing for artists as varied as Adam Lambert, American Authors, Machine Gun Kelly and Ghostface Killah; and serving as tour DJ for Slaughterhouse.  Aalias' solo discography is equally impressive, having produced the Top 20 Billboard single "Middle" for DJ Snake and Bipolar Sunshine, Robin Schulz's new song "Fools," and the breakout indie pops songs "Bubblegum" by TOTEM and "Show Me" by John Splithoff.

"Leave" is sure to catch a lot of people's ears, as when Frequency and Aailas come together, they make magic.  Utilizing Frequency's extensive experience in Hip Hop, Alt Pop and Rock with Aalias' musical genius -- in the not too distant past, he played jazz trumpet and studied at both Juilliard and Berklee School of Music -- Whole Doubts have crafted a sound that is sure to make a lasting impression for years to come.  With Kevin Garrett's penetrating vocals, soulful melodies and passionate lyrics, "Leave" is sure to stay around for a while.  No doubt.
